The Five Painters exhibition will be over the weekend of the 5th and 6th October 2024, at Thornham Village Hall, High Street, Thornham, Norfolk, PE36 6LX. 10am - 5pm each day, admission free. The artists will be supporting the local branch of the Stroke Association
Over the weekend of the 5th and 6th October, five artists will host an exhibition of their paintings in the well-known venue of the Village Hall at Thornham on the North Norfolk coast. Not only will the exhibition be showcasing the work of local artists, but it will also be supporting the essential work of the Stroke Association charity.
The five painters involved are Jill Ilett, Stephen Martyn, Kit Price Moss, Julie Witt and Paul Dark. Each of the five paints in a different style, but they all share a love of the Norfolk landscape, although their work is certainly not limited to local scenes!
As part of the work of the Stroke Association there are art therapy workshops available to members, to help with their recovery and rehabilitation. Some of the members of the Five Painters have been involved in tutoring these workshops and all members will be supporting the local Stroke Association group. At the exhibition there will be information about the Association's work and group members that you can chat to. Donations to the local branch of this well known charity are very welcome.
